Introduction
Vertical-Bar Guardrail (Picket Style)
Features: Composed of top and bottom horizontal rails with multiple vertical aluminum tubes in between; this is the classic design.
Advantages: Offers excellent transparency, does not obstruct views or natural light, and features a simple, elegant aesthetic.
Applications: Suitable for the vast majority of courtyard walls and villa perimeter fencing.
Classification by Function and Location
Perimeter Fencing/Guardrails
Requirements: Typically 1.5–2.5 meters in height; primarily serves to deter intruders and define property boundaries; requires high structural strength.
Internal Partition Fencing
Requirements: Used to separate garden areas, vegetable patches, and leisure zones; generally 0.5–1.0 meters in height; emphasizes aesthetics and landscape harmony.
Staircase/Step Guardrails
Requirements: Must feature ergonomic handrails; height must be at least 0.9 meters; prioritizes grip comfort and safety.
Pond/Water Feature Guardrails
Requirements: Must prevent accidental falls; for swimming pools, the spacing between rails must be less than 10 cm to prevent children's heads from getting trapped; materials must be highly water-resistant and corrosion-resistant.
V. Classification by Assembly Method
Interlocking/Modular Assembly (Weld-free Fencing)
Features: Horizontal and vertical rails are assembled using specialized aluminum alloy or stainless steel components (e.g., U-shaped clips, internal connectors).
Advantages: Convenient transport (shipped as separate parts), rapid on-site installation, and easy replacement of individual damaged components; currently the mainstream choice in the market.
Fully Welded Construction
Features: All joints are welded at the factory, followed by grinding and a comprehensive surface treatment.
Advantages: Offers the highest overall structural strength with no risk of loosening; however, transport costs are higher, and poor weld finishing can detract from the appearance.
